Michelle Iorio created THE aRT OF HAIR in 2003, and her experience and talent come from a wellspring of places. Two highlights of her early career were the opportunity to delve into celebrity hairstyling while in Hollywood, which led to actress Kristie Swanson hiring her as her personal stylist for her wedding photographs and several publicity events, including the prestigious Academy Awards. The second was teaching other stylists color knowledge and techniques at hair shows and at other salons as a Schwarzkopf Professional Educator, which included styling models at New York Fashion week. But Michelle's true passion lies in THE aRT OF HAIR.  Michelle is well-known for her dry cutting techniques and detailed color applications. She combines sculpted styles and creative color designs to enhance the beauty of each client by complementing facial features, skin tones, hair texture and lifestyle. Her eye for detail is as sharp as her scissor’s blade.
